The fiber is Bonkers merino/tencel. Raspberry, I think. The smaller one is what I did at the spinning demo. What am I doing putting all this red on a purple blog? I don't know, just to prove I can break out of predictability.

Then, Kristi started another knitting project. I have finally given in to gloves. I don't know that I was particularly resisting. It's just more of a realization my hands deserve just as much happiness as my feet. One is done, courtesy of Interweave Knits winter 2003. I will try to get a picture tomorrow. Our camera is out on loan.

Why the camera is out on loan is worth explaining. My sweetie's brother and sister-in-law are right this very second bringing their newly adopted baby home. They picked her up in Chicago today. Naturally, they wanted some pictures of the event. I bet they were so googly-eyed over her they didn't take a single one. :)

And of course, since we didn't have the camera, Mr. Kittyboy has done all kinds of adorable poses. Huh, what do you mean take one with the film camera? What is this language you speak? Yep, we're technologically spoiled.

Tomorrow promises to be a long day of waiting room knitting. It may be a picture of two gloves.
