Yes, ol' Needlefingers had a birthday. And what did she get for her birthday? If you've been reading the blog, you already know the answer, but first you need to see the package:

Now then, on to the show:

Here's a face shot:

Is that not lovely? Yes it is. Do I have the best boyfriend in the world? Yes I do.
Today was a great day. My friends and I went to the Fleece Fair in Greencastle. I behaved myself admirably:

On the top left, we have the contents of a bag of many different wools in many different colors. On the right is some dyed wool called 'pale riders' from Little Barn. The center ball is a merino/hemp blend from D'zined. And all along the bottom is gray alpaca. Yummy gray alpaca. Ooops, need to wipe the drool from the keyboard.
I did not buy any raw fleece, which stuns me. I saw lots of lovely ones, just none that made me forget the 50+ pounds I have out in the fiber room. But that's okay, because I have no buyer's guilt.
And, today also marks the end of seven month Olive Garden fast. This fast was not by choice, I've just been too busy with classes and bouts of no energy. But now I have a new job, so everything is all better. When the waitress took our order,
Chris said, "And when you print out the bills, don't give Kristi the survey, because she got it last time and she's your biggest fan." Can you see it coming? When she brought our bills, she said, "I just want you to know, I had nothing to do with it." Woohoo! $3 off my next trip for telling them how much I love them. Piece o' cake. Lemon Creme Cake, to be exact. My theory is that the salad dressing has nanochips that cumulatively implant in your body and they're tracking me. Or, because I order the same thing all the time, the computer recognizes me. I like the chip theory better.
Current knitting is the i-cord for a booga bag. And working on a toe up design that's giving me a couple of fits. Off to spend some quality time with Folk Socks.
